Welcome to Local Labor
Welcome! We are the Local Labor Team for the Marrickville Council Elections.

In the past weeks Marrickville Local Labor has been listening to the concerns of residents across our suburbs.
We have conducted a community survey, knocked on thousands of doors and invited residents to come and speak directly with us at local parks.
Overwhelmingly residents have told us that they want Marrickville Council to get the basics right.
On September 13 we seek your support so we can work closely with our residents and make sure that Council:
- focuses on basic services first
- increases resources for graffiti removal and illegal dumping
- invests in our parks to make them well maintained, clean and safe
- establishes safety audits around schools, stations and streets
- preserves our natural environment, our heritage, our streetscapes, our parks and our river
- works for a clean, green Marrickville that is tackling dangerous climate change
- delivers upgraded pools and a new library that will equip Marrickville for the future and do not compromise our precious green space
Yours sincerely
